HIRING: Community/Disability Support Worker
About the Role:
We’re looking for passionate and reliable Community/Disability Support Workers to join our team in the Northern Beaches area.
Start Date:
- 27 July 2026.
Availability:
- Friday from 8am to 3pm.
- Must also be open to accept 2-hour services.
Requirements:
- Male carers only.
- Must be driving (full Australian driver’s licence).
- Own vehicle.
- Comprehensive Car Insurance (mandatory).
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willing to obtain).
- Valid First Aid & CPR certificates.
- Working with Children Check (WWCC) (or willing to obtain).
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Disability Support Worker.
- Experience supporting participants with dementia and/or complex behaviours.
- Skills in manual handling and providing high-care support (highly regarded).
- Proactive approach to supporting clients to achieve goals and maintain community connections.
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
- Physically active and able to support regular outings, including long walks and community participation.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Provide high-quality, person-centred support to NDIS clients.
- Assist with daily living, personal care, domestic tasks, transport, and community access.
- Support clients attending appointments and engaging in social activities.
- Plan and accompany clients on outings and activities.
- Work across weekdays, weekends, and public holidays (on-call flexibility required).
