About the Job
START ASAP - Community/Disability Support Worker
- 2-hour shifts.
- Must be available:
- Tuesday 4-6pm.
- Wednesday 3:30-5:30pm.
- Thursday 6:30-8:30am.
Requirements:
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (Service NSW).
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Full Australian driver’s licence + own car.
- Comprehensive Car Insurance.
- Working with Children Check (WWCC).
- Experience with manual handling/hoist.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Disability Support Worker.
- Experienced in manual handling/hoist, challenging behaviours, and other high-care skills.
- Be able to provide personal care, domestic assistance, community access, social support.
- Proactive approach to supporting clients to achieve goals and maintain community connections.
- Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
- Physically active and able to support regular outings, including long walks and community participation.
