Advantage Healthcare Support (AHS) is seeking an experienced and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team.
We are looking for a dedicated professional who can provide person-centred support to a participant with complex needs, helping maintain independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.
This opportunity is ideal for support workers seeking extra shifts to complement their existing schedule.
About This Role:
  • Providing support to a young male participant.
  • Assisting with attending appointments.
  • Assisting with other life administration support.
  • Assisting with community access and participation in activities.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you must:
  • Have strong and clear communication skills.
  • Be patient, organised, and comfortable providing support with personal administration and organisational tasks.
  • Be professional, reliable, and punctual.
  • Have the ability to work independently.
  • Have a genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities.
  • Be willing to assist with appointments, calendars, reminders, and other day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and a positive, can-do attitude.

Shifts Available (Ongoing):
  • Every Friday, 3 hours per day.

Essential Compliance Requirements:
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC).
  • Full Australian Driver Licence.
  • Reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance.
  • Full Australian working rights.
